Olympic athlete Lost

One beautiful morning in Brazil the olympic athletes were training. One of the athletes said that he was going for a break. Instead of going for a break he snuck off and went Pokemon hunting. he went and while he was as he was pokemon hunting  he kept looking on his phone and he didn't realize where he was going. He suddenly realised he was  lost.

The other athletes were starting to get worried so they went searching for the missing athlete. While they were looking him they heard a strange sound. So they listened to where the voice was coming from and followed it.

Once they finally got to where the sound was they saw who was making this strange noise, And the person making the noise was the missing athlete.

The other athletes were so happy  that they found him. So they took  him back to practice and they started practicing. Everybody was glad that he was back.

Olympics

Did you know gymnastics are in the Rio Olympics this year? For 32 years only men were allowed to compete but in 1896 women were allowed to play. There is the Rhythmic and the artistics.

I am writing about a gymnast and her name is Simone Biles.  Simone Biles is 19 years old and she was born in March the 14 1997.

In gymnastics you can compete  in groups up to six people. To win the sport it is the person with the highest points and also if you land in a trick shot then you can also win.

In the men’s gymnastics they don’t use  what women use they use the rings and other things. There are also two different kinds of Gymnastics.

Simone Biles was adopted by her biological grandparents from foster care at age five.When she was six years old her one big dream was to become a professional gymnast. In 2012 she was not allowed to compete in the olympics because she was only 12. And I think you have to be 19 and over.

Simone Biles has her own move, Which is called the double layout half out. For me I think that Simone Biles is a very talented gymnast.

I hope Simone Biles wins. GO FOR GOLD SIMONE BILES!!!!!!

Bok Choy

Superhero on mission

One day in the quiet city of Auckland while the students of room 8 were busy working on their literacy tasks they heard a loud explosion Ka-boom!!

HA, HA, HA a creepy voice from outside yelled “I'm going to destroy everything in the whole world with my huge robot” yelled Dr Weevil. “ I know who to call” Bryana exclaimed. So Bryana ran inside and called 911. Suddenly Flame arrived “What seems to be the problem?” Flame asked.

“It’s Dr Weevil He's back and he's going to destroy the whole entire world with his huge robot” said kerstein “He won’t be destroying anything while i’m around” Flame replied “Ohh I don’t think so” Dr said.

There was going to be a showdown against the two enemies. “You best leave this town before I make you” Flame said in a serious voice.  “Never” said Dr “Well then you asked for it”. Flame Kicked the robot with flame’s super kick but the robot was to strong, that the robot  held Flame and roughly chucked him onto the ground.

“Oh no” Yelled one of the kids from room 8 “We've got to help Flame” Said Anna. “Then let's do it” Kerstien said, room 8 gathered around in a circle to come up with a plan. “Ok here’s the plan” and so they when on and on and on.

Thida ran out and started distracting Dr Weevil while Mereana went over and helped Flame get up “Ok here’s the plan Flame” said Mereana and she began telling flame the plan. Once she finished telling the plan flame was ok.

Flame sneaked behind Dr and said “It’s over Dr”  by then Dr Weevil was out of his robot, Flame kicked Dr Weevil back to where he was supposed to be “I’ll be back” Dr yelled “I don’t think he will be back” flame said. All the kids surrounded flame and thanked him then they all said bye.

My real life hero

A hero is a person who protects and defends you. Heroes also save people from danger or if when they need help. Firefighters, Ambulance, Nurses, Doctors and Police officers are all examples of real life everyday heroes.

My real life hero is my dad because he protects me and works to provide food for Our  family. Dad also fixes me up if I am hurt he doesn't just protect me he protects the family.

My other real life hero is my mum and my sisters because whenever I have a problem my mum or my sisters sit down with me and sort the problem out. My mum and dad support me at parent interviews and they also support me in any other  school activities.

We are very lucky to have heroes in this world. I love heroes especially my mum and dad.

Spaghetti

Last night mum made us spaghetti for dinner. "Mmm yum. Mum makes the best meatballs in the world!", my sister remarked. I ate lots of spaghetti. "Hahaha" I laughed as my brother spilled  sauce on his white shirt "You've got sauce on your face to" my sister added, I love when mum makes spaghetti.

Holidays

Holidays has begun! As soon as the home bell rung I shot of out my classroom door and ran all the way to the shops to wait for my mum to pick me up. I suddenly thought to myself the holidays have finally begun.

On the first week of the holidays I went to my best friend Teija’s sleepover. I woke up ready and waited for Teija to pick me up, then finally the doorbell rang it was time to go.It wasin’t just me that went to the sleepover, there was Sheales and Skye.

I hoped in the car and we drove off. Our first stop was yummy avocado picking. Once we got to the avocado trees we saw two couples and two puppies. The puppy's name were Tui and Zani”  I loved Tui and Zani. Then we had to go, as we were leaving we saw another big dog and the funny thing was that dogs names was Tui. Tui was beautiful but she was little bit scared of kids.

After avocado picking we went to Teijas house and started setting up our beds. Then minutes later we went to countdown to get us some lunch. Then we went back to Teijas house and ate and played in the garage. A few hours laters we went to get some pizza for dinner. Then it was time for bed we all said goodnight and went to bed.  

On the second week of the holidays me and my sister and her friends went to the GI pools. We walked there. Once we got to the pools we got changed and jumped in the pool.

After a few minutes we started back flipping in the pools. The scary thing was I never Knew how to back flip but then I learnt. I failed some times but the more you fail the more you succeed.

Then we all went home and had some cake. My highlight of the holiday was when we went to the pools.

Fiafia 2016

Yay fiafia! On the 7th of April 2016 Pt England school had a school Fiafia. Fiafia was held on the Pt England Field. We often have Fiafia every two years.In Fiafia there was 18 groups and they were all the best, my best groups were the Kapa haka and junior hiphop. Fiafia is a concert, Fiafia is about our celebrating our cultures and showing our talents. 

We have been practicing for about six or seven weeks soooo looooooong.I was in the middle school hip hop group , which is the best group ( i believe that ).The songs we did was Love yourself, desert and jump around. Our group was the best group because most of us showed good leadership, and also because we had the best tutors Mr Bax and Mrs samuels.

My best highlight for Fiafia was eating  the yummy food, chilling and performing, and in another two years I can not wait for the next Fiafia. YAY!!!!!!

In writing we have writing about a pirate. But if we were fast finishers we have to make a wanted poster. 

My Narritive

Once there lived a pirate named Captain Jake. He was known as a very nice and kind pirate. He sailed the seven seas  on a huge ship called the SKULL FACE with his pirate crew. Jake liked to wear big baggy pants, stripey tops and black boots.

One day Jake and his crew were out fishing. As they were fishing, Jake and came across an island “set sail for that mysterious island crew” Jake called out “we must check that island” and so they decided to land.

As soon as they landed they jumped of their ship and grabbed their shovels (Just incase there was treasure). They saw an X sign, they started digging. They finally finished digging “Whoo ee” Jake sighed guess what they found?.

Now you would think it was treasure but it was actually a map to treasure. “We have found a map to treasure we shall follow the map” said one person from Jake’s crew.  

So they started walking. They walked night till day and day till night, until they reached the actual X. “We made it” said Jake “let's start digging” then they started to dig. DIG DIG DIG.

They got to the bottom “We finally found it” “TREASURE” said Jake, just that second he had a sudden thought to himself. He felt sorry for all those other pirates who had nothing, so instead of keeping it to himself he shared it with the all the other pirates even the mean ones.

Because remember at the start of my writing how I said he was a very kind pirate well now you know.

Captain Morgan Adams was a tyrant. A pirate bent on causing mayhem and habik. Across the seven seas but, also an enemy of the British

empire. Along with his crew they had bordered smaller ships and taken their booty for keeping.  This all changed when they came across the cursed treasure of Davy Jones Locker.
